Sikkim Aapada Sampark Seva is designed as an emergency disaster management and communication platform specifically for the state of Sikkim. Its primary purpose is to enhance preparedness, coordination, and response during natural disasters and emergencies.

• Allows citizens to report incidents (landslides, earthquakes, floods, etc.) in real-time by capturing and submitting photos or videos.

• Facilitates communication between authorities and the public during disasters.

   • Issues emergency alerts (warnings for landslides, earthquakes, heavy rains, or flash floods) to the public through push notifications.

   • Provides early warnings to vulnerable communities to minimize risks.

2. Rescue and Coordination Assistance

   • Supports coordination between government agencies, State rescue teams, and National Disaster Management Authority.

   • Provides quick access to emergency contacts, hospitals, police stations, and shelters.

3. Location-based Services

   • Uses GPS data to identify the location of incidents and direct resources efficiently.

   • Helps authorities track and respond to incidents more effectively.

4. Public Awareness and Safety Information

Definitions

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

It refers to third-party companies or individuals employed by the Department to facilitate the Service, to provide the Service on behalf of the Department, to perform services related to the Service, or to assist the Company in analyzing how the Service is used.

• Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the platform or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).

• You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company/department, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

We are committed to keeping all such sensitive data/information safe at all times and ensure that such data/information is only transacted over secure We shall collect and store all such information in our internal Company servers for a finite period of time, as long as you are a User of the platform and shall immediately delete all such information upon expiry of your User ship. We shall also delete all aforementioned communication upon withdrawal of User ship of any single Party to the communication.
